Hi Carol

Yes the watercolour was painted on cheap canvas that you would use for acrylic and oil. Apparently Windsor- Newton canvas do not work well however there are some cheap french canvases that work well. I was able to get them in Quebec and I find that if water seeps through easily then it will work. Give it a go. cheers carla

Thank you Carla.. they were really fun to paint..I've never tried to paint watercolor on canvas..was it a regular oil type canvas??
